Advancis Colesterim Ultra X30 Capsules

Advancis® Colesterim Ultra is a food supplement in capsules, with a complete and balanced formula to control cholesterol. Contains plant sterols, Monacolin K, Ginger, Burdock, Vitamin C and Vitamins, B6, B2, B1, B12 and Folic Acid.

Plant sterols are substances structurally similar to cholesterol, which are only found naturally in products of plant origin. Since they are structurally similar to cholesterol, plant sterols bind to cholesterol transporters and are absorbed instead. Cholesterol that is not absorbed is eliminated via the intestine. Its regular consumption is associated with a reduction in total and LDL cholesterol values. Since high cholesterol is a risk factor for cardiovascular health, plant sterols appear to help counteract this situation.

Monacolin k is a secondary compound that results from the red rice fermentation process.
