Compeed Invisible Cold Sore Dressings is indicated for the discreet treatment of cold sore lesions. It has continuous action for up to 12 hours, from the 1st day, for rapid healing. Disguises, protects and hygienically treats the wound. Relieves pain and reduces sensation of tingling, itching, burning, redness and swelling. Reduces the risk of contagion through the wound, helps prevent the formation of scabs and accelerates healing.
It acts on all stages of cold sores, however for best results, the patch should be used as soon as you feel the first symptoms, usually a tingling or itching sensation.Wash your hands before and after applying the patch.It should be used for 24 hours per day, until the wound heals. The dressing will naturally come off the skin after approximately 8 hours and should be replaced with a new one. Do not remove the dressing because you want the wound to "breathe". In fact, this has the opposite effect and can prolong the healing process. It is clinically proven that keeping the dressing on ensures that optimal healing conditions are maintained. If you wish to remove it, gently pull it in a movement parallel to the skin.
