It passed biodegradability tests according to OECD standard 301F, as well as ecotoxicity tests on algae (ISO 10253) and aquatic invertebrates (ISO 14669). These two species belong to the family of zooplankton and phytoplankton, which are essential for the healthy growth of corals.
