Aptamil 1 contains Pronutra™ Advance, a mixture of Prebiotics (scGOS/lcFOS (9:1)), Postbiotics and HMO 3'GL (3'Galactosyl-lactose). This unique combination promotes the development and functioning of a resilient immune system through the intestinal microbiota.
Prebiotics - Aptamil formula is supplemented with short-chain galacto-oligosaccharides and long-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (scGOS/lcFOS, 9:1 ratio) that positively influence the development of the gut microbiota in healthy children by supporting higher levels of Bifidobacterium and reducing harmful bacteria.
Human milk oligosaccharides - occur naturally in breast milk and constitute its third largest component (after fats and lactose). They are especially valuable because they reach the intestine undigested. In the Aptamil formula we find HMO 3'GL (3 galactosyl-lactose).
