Estrofito Forte Bio 30 Capsules, is a product specifically formulated for women over 45 years old, which presents in a single daily dose 100 mg of Soy WB® soy isoflavones, extracted from the complete soybean, and a selected strain – Bifidobacterium S-EF®.
The main Isoflavones present in soy are genistein, daidzein and glycitein. In the intestine, daidzein can be metabolized into S-equol (the most active metabolite of isoflavones) by the intestinal flora, giving greater activity to isoflavones.
Only 30% of Western women have bacteria in their intestinal flora capable of converting daidzein into S-equol.
Bifidobacteria are a bacterial genus that is normally present in the intestinal bacterial microflora, namely Bifidobacterium animalis, a bacterium capable of converting daidzein into S-equol and which contributes to the greater synthesis of S-equol.
